Aqueous Transmission

Well, today was the first day in a long time that I did the things i set out to do even a lil off course.  So I woke up this morning around 9:30, shortly, after David gave me a kiss before he left to school( i love it when he does that) and started my day off the right way! Yay Me.  So our roommate has been in some mood and I over heard him telling David that he wants to use the living room space too.  Well its no problem buddy but hello your NEVER home.  I understand where he's coming from he wants to also get comfy on the couch from time time.  Yes, David and I are home the majority of the time therefore we utilize the living space a lot more. This morning cleaned up the living space and made accommodations so that the space does not like unwelcoming; after all, he lives here too.  Now, i leave my stuff on the kitchen table.  This also helps me because sitting on the couch all day make me hella lazy and sitting up right allows more blood flow through me. I decided that Im going back to school this year to finish my career already and graduate!  So I had to get my things together in GA and then transfer all my stuff to CCSF.  Soon enough, I will be starting school this fall! HOORAY! sending positive energy out into the universe!  Well on to my day:

I got dressed and rode my bike to the coast! Along the way, I decided that i was going to the Botanical Gardens first.  Fascinated by all of the HUGE trees out here I took an afternoon nap under one.  Then I walked around the Gardens. Man, SF is so nice!  There's alot of museums and excursions free to SF residents! Along the way, i found..(keep in mind, its not Spring yet)

this is the tree i took a nap under <3

After that, I took a ride down to the Ocean Beach which was about 2 miles from there.  I didnt take any pics of the beach. The pacific ocean is soooo cold!!! gah. I was caught up in the moment that I didnt even think about it.

I dig my toes into the sand
The ocean looks like a thousand diamonds
Strewn across a blue blanket
I lean against the wind
Pretend that I am weightless
And in this moment I am happy...happy

Actually, I didnt think about anything.  I couldnt believe that i hadnt had a thought.  I just strolled along the park and beach aimlessly but let me tell you that when i got home I was hella tired! It was such a beautiful day in SF and I finally got to enjoy it, even if i was alone.

2-1

Its definitely a Mazzy Starr night on Pandora.

I had an interview for the Whole Body Receiver position and I didnt get it.  It just seems like positions i want are 2 (taken from me) and 1 (what i have).  Well when 1 door closes 2 more open, so it turns out that another store is hiring as well for 2 positions.  I am definitely going for it.  Man, i really want that job.  I was given constructive criticism which helps because now i can refine my interview.  So we shall see. Ive been thinking about charleston, or lately. Ive never been there but I can see myself raising a family there.  I wanna live in a cottage where I have a backyard and porch.  I think its a bike friendly town. These days i feel like I dont know much of anything.  Nothing like moving to a new place to remind you of how small you and how ignorant you are.  I dont even know what to think of anything or have opinions.  The minute i feel i have an opinion about a subject, soon i realize i know squat!

Funny that i just wrote about knowing nothing because as I write Pandora is playing one of my favorite tracks "In the waiting line" by Zero 7 & that's exactly how i feel.  Nothing seems to be real but only a dream state that i will wake up from.  I ve always felt this way, since i was a child. I remember when about 8 in 3rd grade wondering if life was just a dream or if im in a deep coma creating this all in my head; all of the evil around me was just me creating it. Who knows what i know anymore.

All of this anxiety is causing me distress.  I started getting headaches at night again.  I dont have an appetite for actual food.  I just wanna sleep all day.  This is such an experience for me. I feel so vulnerable.  Where has all my strength gone?  Who is this person?  My friend Vivi tells me, I sound so sad.

Tomorrow, I plan to go to the beach. "In a manner of speaking"- I'm in need of ocean vibration.

Finger Muscles

I type this whilst listening to an episode of Home Movies. (memories)  Well last I checked in here Iiiiiiiii...wanted new bike.  I still want that bike so very much but man am I broke.  Im not nagging about it but certain luxuries are going to have to wait while get important things paid for first such as loan, rent, utilites, food.  Hopefully (crossing fingers) i get a decent amount of money in income tax check to have some to save and spend. Ive taken up knitting has allowed me to be mentally creative.  I havent done much than a rag and a half. HAHA. My co-worker, Lynley, gave me a ton of yarn to play with, god bless her!  Here's what ive made...
this is with my aluminum size 6 needle on worsted teal yarn rag

size 9 bamboo needle on organic bamboo yarn rag.
Im considering combining these 2.

SF is still doing well.  David and I went to the Sutro Baths last weekend when I was suppose to be at the Learning Center Retreat for BB Kabbalah but i didnt go.  Emotionally Ive been very distressed.  I did not feel mentally stable and not in the same way that hormones interact when I'm pms-ing.  My current work space was a major part of my stress.  I definitely needed my support system.  I miss those guys so much. Its funny because Im encountering an issue i didnt prepare myself for.  All I thought about before moving out here was,...David david david daivd...cali cali cali...surf..sun..beach...nature....but I didnt even think to consider how much i was going to miss MY close friends.  Ive really establish great frienships back in ATL.My support system.  Don't get me wrong,  David has been (to the best of his abilities) a wonderful support to me but there's so much a man can handle and understand.  There's nothing like a great girlfriend.  There is one girl who i am getting a lot closer with than most of my other girlfriends in SF.  Her name is Vivi.  We have similar life experiences which is why i feel a great connection with her. So, i guess we shall see where our friendship goes.

Im still learning my new grown up responsibilities such as paying for my car insurance.  Now that is new to me.  Ive been lazy about getting my things together for school.  I definitely want to go back to school because I do not want to be a whole foods all my life but alteast while im getting my career together. Its a great place to work while in school.  I love it even though i wanna choke it at time but dont we all.!

Oh and I feel like a huge ballena.  My health has really sucked these pass few weeks.  My stress has lured me into eating unhealthy refined foods but i will return to my soup dinners, salad lunches, and irish breakfasts soon enough. Uno day at a time.

back to knitting and cuddling with DaviD and Home Movies...

Get up Stand up

I forgot to buy Mochi last night so I can have it for breakfast this morning;therefore, no Mochi for me.  Ill have to wait until monday then.  I havent been studying Kabbalah as much lately, which sucks because I should be.  I need to get back in the groove of studying.  I have started knitting, though! I bought this book called Stitch-N-Bitch which is to suppose to be la creme de la creme of knitting handbooks.  I m about to start making stuff which is hella nice! So I'd like to loose about 30 more pounds in 3-6 months.

I started this challenge with my co-workers for Eat Right America.  Its suppose to be 28 days of incorporating more greens, nuts, grains, and fruits in your diet.  I like it and was all about Ive reading about this other lifestyle called eating for your blood type which i find has a lot more truth to it.  So im going to go with that instead.  I still eat a big salad everyday eat fruits and nuts in the morning.  Im trying to stay away from sugar that being my only challenge for the next 28 days.

So San Francisco has been treating so well!  I really glad I moved to Cali.  Id like to go Skiing and surfing(when its not white shark season)  I have a slight dilemma.  I want to buy a new bike but the cost of the new bike is $535.  Im going to sell my bike for $200.  Ive never paid that amount for anyting other than rent, so im really scared in paying that amount.  Id also like to learn to skateboard but I hear you fall a lot and i dont wanna fall that much or at all.  I cant stop thinking about that bike.  Its a KHS Flite 220 Womens  Road  bikeflite-220-l-sky-10.jpg

I test rode it the other day and was absolutely in love with it.  Its such a smooth ride compared to what im riding now.  We shall see.

Im off to eat breakfast!

H_A: hhhhaaaaaa....

Well here we are again.  Im definitely working on updating my blogs.  So whats been going on this week? So i spoke to my boyfriend about the situation I was having with the dirty roommates.  He said that if i were to say anything to them, I should come from a point of view of neutrality.  I decided until i found neutrality i was not going to say anything.  Its seems as though things are working themselves out.  Ive been talking to everyone else about it that I dont feel as stressed out anymore and the kitchen seems alot alot cleaner than before.  its only been like one day but one day clean is better than no day.  Work has been going along, today I had holiday table training which is awesome! we got to eat ssssssooooooooo much food, i had no desire for dinner or dessert when i got home.  Ive been also going to yoga about 3 days a week which has been fan-tas-tic!! I've definitely have more energy than ive had all year! plus, im starting to notice the change in my body.  I've decided that I need to be more conscious of what im putting in my body and its affect.  I ve learned so far that I am allergic to dairy and bananas! Bananas of all things! well they make me sick when I eat them.  Im trying goats milk which is working great with my body.  I also drink GT's Kombucha 3 times a week which has been alleviating my sugar intake.  I find I do not crave sugar as much as I did 2 weeks ago!

On another note: I would like to say THANK YOU to WEB CAMS! i was able to see my brother and mother back east! I havent seen them in months! I miss them a lot, especially my brother! We have such a good time together! I really miss him! I know he would absolutely love SF if he gave it the opportunity.  We connected through Google Chat which was awesome! Hopefully we can start by doing it a once a week ritual or something.

Now on to a problem Ive been personally dealing with the past couple of years, my skin.  All through high school, I had beautiful skin, no pimples or scars!  Then the summer I graduated high school, i decided to get on BC because my boyfriend at the time suggested that i get on them.  Well ever since my face has gotten worse.  I got off bc a month later but my face never never recovered.  I ve been working with my diet but nothing seems to change.  I became a Vegan for 3 years.  Now I am a compassionate omnivore.  Anyways, Ive tried proactive: nada!, washing my face every night: nada.  Now i find myself trying to figure out whats wrong with my face! is it the weather? stress?, excessive heat?, liver Qi?  Im using the Skin Organics line by Ann Webb.  Hopefully this will remove my acne blues away!   Well just got out of Yoga class and must shower!

Bitter Melon

Im back again and hopefully I will continue to speak to you.  We'll our move was a successful trip! Filled with much laughter, dancing, and driving! New Orleans was a blast!

Thats me with Panchito!

Texas took forever to get out of, really 2 days. I had no idea Texas was that big!  Someone said to me "The trip feels so much longer when its day 2 and your still in Texas"  We headed straight to San Diego after Texas! Spent a few days with my boyfriend's brother and his wife.  That was sweet! Then met up with our roommate Tommy! in Venice Beach! Awesome time in Venice well mainly at the Whole Foods there.  Finally, drive up home to Frisco! I absolutely love it here.  The weather is great! Its like NYC fall all the time. Windy and cool and sometimes very hott!.

I can definitely say I miss home.  All of my family is in Atl.  My boyfriend and I are the only ones here.  He's pretty much all I have here.  Its nice because I get to start my own family with him and build together.  Which is exactly what my intentions were but missing my family is still part of it.  Even though  we get into minor arguments, my love for him grows deeper.  We'll be together for a year in december! Its beautiful how loves comes when its unexpected! I wasn't looking for it but I desire it.

Its great to be in SF.  There's just so many things out here especially in health and spirituality.  Ive decided to join the Bnei Baruch Kabbalah Center. It's great there! I feel like Im home, spiritually.  Funny thing that I joined Bnei Baruch, coincidentally, my environment has gotten slightly hostile.  Not because of my boyfriend but our roommate and his company.  Our roommate brings this girl he's dating to spend who knows how many # of days with us without consenting us at all!  Its not like we would have been opposed to this she's a "nice" girl.   My home is my sanctuary, I dont want people there that I dont know are coming or know at all. I dont know what our roommate told her but she's gotten very comfortable in our home.  Its not your place to leave your shoes around in the kitchen nor your plugged hairdryer in the bathroom nor setting up your toiletries in our bathroom.  This may seem petty but we werent told how long she's staying over.  Quite honestly, if we were consented first, I wouldnt have minded her stay, if she truly needed one.  The thing is though, she says she's doesnt want to be in a relationship with our roommate and is ready to pack her bags and go anywhere.  Yet how is it that you move back to a city and not have a home stay in? or even consider staying at the place of the man you dont really want to be with? I really am working with my ego.  I may not like her because  maybe i see an ex quality of myself that i didnt like in her.  Maybe a territorial(ego) thing, I dont know her, why is she in my home.  I am as pleasant as can be.  If anyone is reading out there..help find a different perspective. Maybe things arent as cut and dry as i believe they are to be.

Tick-Tock

It has definitely been a wonderful ride. I would love to do a recap but 2 years is a bit far for a recap. Besides, i cant keep up with my life that far back. Lets see, since I posted things have changed. Has been much more like capitalistic ride; nonetheless, much learning.

Now we are here, on May 27th, 2010, sitting on the couch at my dad's Kennessaw apartment babysitting my younger brother. I would have never thought that the actual day would come where I would be moving to California but , god willing about a month from now I will be on my way there. I would have never thought that the acual day would come where I'd meet a man who i would be head over heals for.
Now, I find myself in this position at this very moment. Looking forward to manifesting destiny with him. Building a home with him.

I love how small the world is. The past year my life has been blessed with the people ive met. The best part of this is that most of my friends know each other in different ways.

David and I have this one mutual friend who we know by 2 separate occasions. I met Jason at Whole Foods while he was doing a demo and David met him at school.

This is Jason.

Jason is married to a lovely Japanese girl named Maiko

Well turns out that Maiko is friends with a girlfriend of mine named Desiree who is Bahai. They were on the same dance team at UGA.
(this is her and i getting down at my 21st bday fiesta!)
I met Desiree because of my girlfriend Tandeka who is Bahai, i met her in a public speaking class at school.

Well then, Tandeka knows Jason because of magical mondays meetings that Bahai's do. and of course Desiree and Jason know each other because of being Bahai.

So there, life has been pretty grand since ive met these people. Well Im getting myself together for the move. Looking forward to meeting more great people! We're planning ( god willing) to move to San Francisco. (Gosh, I know its so expensive there) We'll see, I live life serendipitously. Sadly, this narcissistic update must come to an end but surely I am serious that I will try to keep and update on the trip up and adventures to come. By the way, I am serious, but dont call me Shirley.
